Bella is a must meet dog. She is loving, great with other dogs, kids, but likes to chase cats.  She can't see well, but gets around great if introduced to her area properly.  She is an extremely laid back, relaxed dog.  

BELLA's STORY: She was found on Broadbridge Rd. in Marine City, by a driver for Hungry Howie's. The young man called the daughter of the directer, and went door to door down Broadbridge trying to find her owner. Through facebook we found out that the owners of the dog dumped Bella. No dog should be dumped and it was even worse for her due to her poor vision!! We contacted someone who we will leave  unanimous , who told us that Bella's vision issue was caused from overfeeding, bad nutrition, and plain old neglect!!
She is apx 3-5 years old, fun loving pup.

Bella is curious about cats.  Since she is partially blind, the movement is what she is attracted to. She was in a foster with two cats: one stood up to Bella, the other did not and that is who Bella wanted to chase.

Bella will be blind by the end of the year, so we are hoping to home her soon so that she can get used to her environment prior to this happening. We have had her eyes tested and have all the information available for her adopter. The place that performed the testing has also said the adopter can call and they can explain all the test results.
