Skittles came to us in a shoe box, when we opened the box there was this sweet 3 week old kitten. When taken to the veterinarian, Skittles was sedated so the wounds could be cleaned and freed from the maggots, and dirt. We do not know if Skittles is a male or female, due to the swelling and damage that was incurred to the hind end. We first thought that an animal may have gotten hold of skittles, but the damage does not support that conclusion. His wounds are deliberate someone hurt this adorable kitten, possible fire cracker... So far the kitten has had 1 of several surgeries, Skittles tail had to be amputated (9.24.13) and some stitches where placed to help with the healing process.
